5th Annual Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Festival

Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Festival

A Legendary Family Gathering in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee

Mark your calendar for May 3, 2025, and join us in Townsend, Tennessee, for the 5th Annual Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Festival, a celebration of legends, mystery, and community.

This year, Bigfoot isn’t showing up alone. He’s bringing along some well-known friends from folklore, including the Yeti, Mothman, Dogman, and more. It’s a full day of family-friendly fun, great food, and one-of-a-kind experiences in the beautiful Smoky Mountains.

Enjoy live music from local and regional bands, a wide variety of food trucks, and vendors offering everything from handmade art to Bigfoot collectibles. Listen to well-known Bigfoot researchers share their latest stories and findings, and take part in fun competitions the whole family can enjoy.

Kick off the morning with the Bigfoot 5K, open to all ages and fitness levels. Whether you're there to compete or just enjoy a light jog, it's a fun way to start the day.

Tickets are $10 per person. Kids 10 and under get in free. Parking is also free.

The event will be held at the Townsend Visitor Center, located at 7906 E Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Townsend, TN 37882.

Whether you’re a longtime Bigfoot believer or simply curious about cryptids and mountain folklore, the Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Festival is a fun and unique way to spend a day in the Smokies.

The festival is both family-friendly and pet-friendly, so bring the whole crew. Please note that handicap access is limited. Book your cabin rental in nearby Wears Valley with Venture Smoky Mountain rentals!
